I have used the Wonder-cut ruler to make the HST's for this quilt. They are finished size 6 1/2" and I found the accuracy to be not as great for this size as the smaller size I used on the recent Ruler Workshop project. I think it's because you have to slide the ruler down to be able to cut along the side of the triangle - I'm going to play with this another time to see if I can figure out where I went wrong or at least another way to cut both sides of the triangle to achieve better accuracy -I found my new ruler purchase, the Simplicity Studio 6 1/2" Simpli-EZ Square to be the best ruler I have used for "squaring up" my blocks. It has 45 degree lines on each diagonal, making it perfect for checking the HST's. It's very clearly marked, much better than my old 6 1/2" rulers.

Good grief woman! When you're on a roll you're really on a roll both sewing & blogging.

I love the poppy fabric. I have something similar that you can use to make half square triangles. I don't remember what it is called.
