Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree.....merry merry king of the bush is he.......
Well, he's certainly merry around our house. He first visited us around Xmas Day, then every day since and he now has introduced his friend (the one in the tree!)
BEACH QUILT! FINALLY PIECED..... and you thought it was a figment of my imagination:-))
In the sewing department.... not a lot happening, but I have finally managed to get

the Beach Quilt together, just deciding if it needs a border. This quilt has taken me far too long to get done. I now want it finished and delivered to B.B. On seeing how big it has become, I don't think a border will be required!! Great, let's just quilt it and get the fringing on and hand it over!
FIRST SIGGY FOR 2010 :- I received a beautiful Siggy from Tonny from The Netherlands. As you can see, it is a tiny little X-Stitch (I think a tulip? or an Iris?)
Also in the mail recently, a lovely surprise from
Lynda - a great hot pad - you can see how Lynda makes these if you click on the link above. Thanks Lynda!! I want to have a go at making some of these myself but I was so happy to receive one from you!
O.K., that's it for now,
Happy Sewing
