Today I pieced the other Mug Rug. I have used a selection of sewing notion fabric plus a tea cup/pot fabric and cupcake fabric. Once again I have used the
single binding method, this time cutting it at
1 1/2". This method is really perfect for these little mug rugs! I chose the green for the binding as it seemed to bring out the greens in all the other fabric.... and because it was the first fabric I picked up:-)
The King Parrots came to visit me yesterday! Usually they are in pairs but I was very surprised to find about 6 of them on my deck! I tried to take a couple of close-ups when they were sitting on my verandah railings but they are quite timid and most of them flew away.
