I love to sew, mainly quilts and bags. I am 66, married to Fred and have one son, Matthew, who is 27. I enjoy embroidery and applique and prefer to machine piece and quilt my projects. I love my vintage Singer sewing machines especially my Featherweight 222K. I’m enjoying treadling on my 201K Singer and I collect Miniature Sewing Machines and currently have three Essex , one Singer 20, one Singer 40, two Vulcan Miniatures and my latest, a Grain. My love of sewing I believe comes from my Grandmother - I still have the drawings she made for me to embroider on tea towels many many years ago!

NO REPLY BLOGGER etc etc etc etc........

I'm really getting ABSOLUTELY tired of this issue.  I've been sending off emails to some of you lovely ladies telling you that you are a "no reply blogger" as I know this setting has a mind of its own! well, surprise surprise - even after I had gone back in to my own Blogger settings and fixed everything only a few weeks ago ....  yep, you guessed it!  I was ALSO a "no reply blogger" again!  I know this is something to do with Google + but I have no idea why this setting is so unstable!

Does anyone know why this keeps happening?   I've sent off a complaint to Blogger but don't know if I'll get anywhere!  they will probably say it's a Google + thing !

I'm thinking of getting rid of my Google +  account.

Whinge over!

Have a great day!
Helen

  2. from what I understand, when you use your Google+ profile, you are automatically a 'no reply' blogger. I am not too sure on the specifics, I just remember reading it somewhere. That is why I have reverted back to my Blogger profile :) I will see if I can find where I read it, as it also gave instruction on how to change back :)

  3. I've considered going to blogger as well but if I do, I'll lose all my comments in my previous posts so that's what's been holding me back. I've become a no-reply blogger countless times.

    1. Wait, now I'm confused since I thought I just changed my profile back to blogger but my comments are still there. I'm replying here to see which picture of me shows up (the one with the scarf is my google+ pic).

    2. I think your comments are safe Diana. I feel so happy to know that I don't have to keep checking my OWN settings constantly!
