I love to sew, mainly quilts and bags. I am 61, married to Fred and have one son, Matthew who is 23. I enjoy embroidery and applique and prefer to machine piece and quilt my projects. I love my vintage Singer sewing machines especially my Featherweight 222K. My love of sewing I believe comes from my Grandmother - I still have the drawings she made for me to embroider on tea towels many many years ago!

SIGGIES, SQUARES AND A SECRET!

Thank you Minette - I love your siggy!!  Your suffolk puff is PERFECT!  How do you get them so perfectly round and flat????

I had a little play with my GO CUTTER today.  I needed some 4 1/2" squares for the 4 patch blocks in my Keep Movin' quilt (the one with the cars, trucks and planes) ...
I cut 5 in one pass - I have just placed them like this for the photo - they come out all in one neat pile!
PLAYING WITH THE GO!

I wonder what this might be?
hint hint.... I recently won a xmas
fabric bundle!!

Happy Sewing!
