I love to sew, mainly quilts and bags. I am 61, married to Fred and have one son, Matthew who is 23. I enjoy embroidery and applique and prefer to machine piece and quilt my projects. I love my vintage Singer sewing machines especially my Featherweight 222K. My love of sewing I believe comes from my Grandmother - I still have the drawings she made for me to embroider on tea towels many many years ago!

TEDDY BEAR TEDDY BEAR, TOUCH THE GROUND!

Here they are, with their sashing strips on! I just eeked out the four patch blocks - one of the yellow blocks is actually two scraps joined together!

Now to decide about a border. I have this multi stripe and I think it looks good. Certainly nice and bright!

What do you think?

  4. The striped fabric looks great with your project! It pulls out all the colors of your blocks. Is this "Bungalow Stripe" by Michael Miller? I just used this fabric in my last project and love it:)
