Quilting the Brights Baby Quilt
Where is all the "stuff" which is usually on my sewing table you ask??????
Over on the ironing board of course!!!!
Quilting now finished, just putting the binding on this one and it will be a finish for July!
As I had so much material left over from the first set of teddies, I'm building another set! This time with a yellow check background.
Here's a sneak peek at my version of Flea Market Boxes - not in any particular order, just the blocks I have completed so far.
Today we have woken up to quite a cold day, so I'm planning to spend most of the day in the sewing room. This is, of course, after we have been out for coffee - thank goodness I have more teddy blocks and siggy blocks to embroider!
Happy Sewing!
Of course they are on your ironing board! My "stuff" does a "round robin" on all the flat surfaces in my sewing room until it comes back to where it started!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt that pushed the stuff away, BTW.
It is an emergency when I have to use my ironing board! It takes a day to unearth it! As always- your work is lovely!
ReplyDeleteIt's a matter of shuffling fabrics like we all do. Your projects all look great.
ReplyDeleteYour mom's party sounds like it was perfect and the pictures were wonderful.
AH that is what my sewing room looks like too. Never enough space. LOL
ReplyDeleteOh your teddy block is lovely and your bright quilt is just my thing. Love it.
Thanks girls!
ReplyDeleteI'm back from coffee now and getting into some sewing..... it's really cold now so have the wood fire on and just about to have a soup for lunch!
Have a great day!
Good to have a forced day inside sometimes!! - hope you get lots done. Love your projects and especially your teddy, he (?) looks very lifelike with his arms hanging out the window!!
ReplyDeleteI don't see the problem with the ironing board.... it's just Quilty Quarters Solitaire isn't it? ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteLove your Teddy quilt... very, very cute!
Your pile made me smile--it seems we all have one (or two...or more). All of your projects are coming along nicely.
ReplyDeleteI really like the Flea Market boxes. You might be cold but we have temps over 100 today. I am staying in.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing some of your projects! (I have those piles, too.) ~karen
