I love to sew, mainly quilts and bags. I am 62, married to Fred and have one son, Matthew who is 23. I enjoy embroidery and applique and prefer to machine piece and quilt my projects. I love my vintage Singer sewing machines especially my Featherweight 222K. I've recently started collecting Miniature Sewing Machines, two Essex and one Singer 20. My love of sewing I believe comes from my Grandmother - I still have the drawings she made for me to embroider on tea towels many many years ago!

MONKEYS AND BUNNIES

Peek-a Boo Bunnies
Tumblin' Monkeys

I've had these quilts ready for ages..... just waiting for their labels!  done!  I delivered them to my BFF today, they are for her granddaughter and grandson.   Peek-a-Boo Bunnies - Quilt Pattern by Natalie Bird for The Birdhouse.   Tumblin' Monkeys - pattern by Heidi Pridemore from   thewhimsicalworkshop.com

Yesterday I started the blocks for a new baby quilt.  Another version of the toy twist quilt,
this one for a little baby girl.
here is the first row up on my design wall

I've made other versions of this quilt before.......  the pattern is called Hey Diddle Diddle, by Karen DuMont of KariePatch Designs.

I'm now working on Block 3 from the Quilting Gallery Aiming For Accuracy quilt-along.  Photos tomorrow!

Happy Sewing!!
