I love to sew, mainly quilts and bags. I am 66, married to Fred and have one son, Matthew, who is 27. I enjoy embroidery and applique and prefer to machine piece and quilt my projects. I love my vintage Singer sewing machines especially my Featherweight 222K. I’m enjoying treadling on my 201K Singer and I collect Miniature Sewing Machines and currently have three Essex , one Singer 20, one Singer 40, two Vulcan Miniatures and my latest, a Grain. My love of sewing I believe comes from my Grandmother - I still have the drawings she made for me to embroider on tea towels many many years ago!

I WILL FOLLOW YOU ......

It won't be long now and Google Reader will be gone forever.  I have changed over to Bloglovin to follow all those blogs that I subscribe to.   I have made it easy with just a click of the button in my sidebar if you wish to use Bloglovin to follow my blog.  The other option is to receive blog posts via email and of course, you may have chosen another of the blog feed systems available.   It's difficult for the Blog owner to know what their Followers have chosen but I thought I should just put out a reminder about the closure of the Google Reader system.

Cheers!
Helen

  5. Thanks girls!

I'm commenting on my own blog, just to check some settings... it pays to do this every now and then to make sure that the gremlins haven't changed your settings (as they do!)....

  6. It pays to double check your settings... even though I have checked this numerous times, there is something about google + that changes your settings without you knowing.... it appears I was "once again" a no-reply blogger!!! so I've been back into my settings and changed everything yet AGAIN!!! I'll do a post about this later!
