I love to sew, mainly quilts and bags. I am 66, married to Fred and have one son, Matthew, who is 27. I enjoy embroidery and applique and prefer to machine piece and quilt my projects. I love my vintage Singer sewing machines especially my Featherweight 222K. I’m enjoying treadling on my 201K Singer and I collect Miniature Sewing Machines and currently have three Essex , one Singer 20, one Singer 40, two Vulcan Miniatures and my latest, a Grain. My love of sewing I believe comes from my Grandmother - I still have the drawings she made for me to embroider on tea towels many many years ago!

ACCESSORY BAG SWAP.... PARCEL RECEIVED!!!

I have had a very exciting afternoon!  My Accessory Bag swap parcel arrived from Jen today.  Thank you Jen!  I just cannot believe all the wonderful goodies included in with the bag.....

Here is the lovely package-how cute!

The most wonderful Accessory Bag!  Love the suffolk puff and button detail
on the front.  The fabric is oh so "ME"!!!
and here is the back of the bag
All the lovely goodies Jen included in the bag--- am I spoilt or what!?
Accessory Bag,Needlecase, scissors, pins, charm pack, Clover Wonder Clips,
Car decal and Bag Pattern

Great size Needlecase - love the fabric!

The needlecase has two pockets - great design!

"Giddy" Moda charm pack and Clover Wonder Clips
I haven't seen the Car Decals here in Australia and the Clover Wonder Clips were on my shopping list for the next Craft Show due here in March.  The "Giddy" charm pack is lovely - beautiful colours!   The scissors and pins are the perfect size.  I have trouble holding pins these days - must be getting old! but the pins Jen has sent me have a large head but the pin is still a fine steel (size 24  --  1-1/2")    The scissors will fit in my new Accessory Bag perfectly.  Naturally I will be making up the Bag Pattern immediately, as all of my stitching friends will want one!

The Accessory Bag swap was hosted by Kris...   thank you so much Kris!  this has been a fun swap.

I can't prattle on here any longer..... I'm off to look at all of the lovely things in my new bag!!

Happy Sewing!!
