I love to sew, mainly quilts and bags. I am 62, married to Fred and have one son, Matthew who is 23. I enjoy embroidery and applique and prefer to machine piece and quilt my projects. I love my vintage Singer sewing machines especially my Featherweight 222K. I've recently started collecting Miniature Sewing Machines, two Essex and one Singer 20. My love of sewing I believe comes from my Grandmother - I still have the drawings she made for me to embroider on tea towels many many years ago!

MAKING A LIST AND CHECKING IT TWICE!

QUILTED LIST-TAKER
Design by:  Jennifer Casa
(http://jchandmade.typepad.com/)

EACH GIVE-A-WAY PRIZE WILL INCLUDE ONE OF THESE!!

As I had a few strips of left-over scraps from making the bags, I thought I would try making these!!  Jennifer's pattern is super easy to follow and I had two of these made in a very short time!!
I used two of my antique shank buttons on the fronts (you need shank buttons to twist the cord around!)

To enter my give-a-way, you need to comment on my previous post -  GIVE-A-WAY TIME.

Happy Sewing!
