I love to sew, mainly quilts and bags. I am 66, married to Fred and have one son, Matthew, who is 27. I enjoy embroidery and applique and prefer to machine piece and quilt my projects. I love my vintage Singer sewing machines especially my Featherweight 222K. I’m enjoying treadling on my 201K Singer and I collect Miniature Sewing Machines and currently have three Essex , one Singer 20, one Singer 40, two Vulcan Miniatures and my latest, a Grain. My love of sewing I believe comes from my Grandmother - I still have the drawings she made for me to embroider on tea towels many many years ago!

YOU'VE GOT TO BE IN IT TO WIN IT!!!

Oh no!!! another fantastic give-a-way!!! Khris, at Sew Prim Khris is having a wonderful give-a-way of a Moda Crazy 8 turnover and honey bun...... check it out!!!! I know.... so many competitions!! but it's all fun!! and you know you really would like to win something, ONE DAY!

No sewing today...... but I did go to the gym (along with MH) and I worked really really hard... hopefully the numbers will show this next Wednesday!! Tonight I'm making nine patches and snowball blocks with some of my scraps..... I cleaned out the scrap drawer today and I have a heap of bits and pieces to press, cut and sew!! It feels so good to see an almost empty drawer..... now I can fill it up again!!! ---the pic shows my "design wall" with some of the blocks I have made so far.... I have not trimmed away the corners of the snowballs as yet! that's why their "ears" are drooping!!!

I received another lovely Siggy block in the mail today..... this one from Switzerland!!! Thank you Lilo!!

Have a great week-end everyone!!

Happy Sewing
